A picture-perfect fall day greeted 140 golfers at one of the nation’s premiere golf courses – Edgewood Tahoe – as the Barton Health Foundation played host to its annual Golf Classic on October 17th.

Over $30,000 was raised from the event, with proceeds designated to assist with the purchase of a leading-edge Digital Breast Tomosynthesis system, which will provide Barton Health patients with the very latest technology in the Tahoe basin.

“We are extremely pleased to have had a sold-out event at Edgewood Tahoe,” said Julee Delacour, Special Events Chair for the Barton Health Foundation.  “Because of the pandemic and the wildfire, this was our first special event in nearly 3 years.  It was gratifying to see everyone come out and support the Foundation.  It was a fun day for all involved, and more importantly, we raised funds for an important initiative.”

The Barton Health Foundation would like to extend a very sincere “Thank You” to all of the participants, sponsors and volunteers, along with the Edgewood Tahoe team, for making the day a huge success!
