(Lake Tahoe, CA) – The Barton Health Foundation funds lifesaving and life-changing programs at both Barton Health and in the Lake Tahoe community. With the onset of the pandemic in the spring of 2020, the Barton Health Foundation, in addition to funding needs at Barton Health, also launched the COVID-19 Response Fund to address food insecurity in our community.
These grants would not be possible without the support of our generous donors who continue to advance the health of our community through philanthropy. Included with the $478,460 in grants distributed in 2020 were funds used to purchase leading-edge medical equipment, programmatic support to Barton Health service lines, and for the purchase of food cards to help community members in need.
In 2019, the Barton Health Foundation contributed $364,600 to Barton Health and the community.
