This unrestricted fund is vital to the Barton Health Foundation, as it ensures that funding is directed to the area where it is needed most, as determined by the Barton Health Foundation Board of Trustees in conjunction with Barton Health administration. 

Barton Health Cardiology offers a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses prevention, diagnosis, intervention, referral and rehabilitation.  This fund is designated towards the purchase of the latest technology, equipment and training for Barton Health’s Cardiology service area.

This endowment is structured in perpetuity to ensure the overall fiscal health of the Barton Health Foundation and Barton Health in future years.

Supports continual improvements in equipment, training, and resources in the Barton Health Emergency Department to ensure the highest quality care for patients in life threatening situations.

Provides financial resources for state-of-the-art equipment and professional training for Barton Health’s pediatric team to ensure that mothers, babies and their families receive the best possible care.

Provides resources for Barton Hospice, which delivers end-of-life care for patients in their home.  Funds are used to cover costs for patient comfort kits; continuing education for Hospice staff; bereavement counseling resources; and Camp Sunrise, a healing retreat for children ages 7-14 who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Used to support mental health outreach, education, resources, new technologies, equipment and patient support programs designed to address mental health needs in our Lake Tahoe community.

In addition to purchasing leading-edge equipment, this fund provides training, outreach, pain management services, and education to improve the quality of life for patients and their families living with cancer.

A way to express gratitude through a donation on behalf of a physician, nurse, team member, or a department that made a significant difference in the quality of care you received at Barton Health.
